Living Your Life in the Spirit of God
If you only knew the gift... (John 4:10)
The Lord is inviting all into an intimate relationship with Him through the Holy Spirit, the promise of the Father to all believers in Christ. Do you know this gift.... Of being led, guided, taught, transformed and renewed into Christ’s image? Of being owned and possessed by the Holy Spirit? Of being equipped and empowered to fulfill God’s will on earth as it is in heaven? Of walking in the fullness of your inheritance in Christ? Of living in intimacy with Jesus as His bride? Do you know the gift? As Jesus said, “He who believes in Me, out of His innermost being, shall flow rivers of living water.” (John 7:38). He was speaking of the Holy Spirit, the Water of Life, flowing from our “womb”, the birthing of the life of Jesus. Blessed is to be the Fruit of our womb. “As Jesus is, so are we in this world.” (John 4:17b) If He needed the Holy Spirit to fulfill the Father’s plans and purposes, how much more so do we? He is looking for radical lovers, extremists, burning aglow with the Holy Spirit, “power houses”! This is NORMAL Christianity. And to live the true Christian life in these perilous times, how much more so do we need ABOUNDING GRACE, accessible through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit! Let us respond as the Samaritan woman, “Sir, give me of this water...” (John 4:15). Be jealous to welcome the Holy Spirit!!! “The Spirit and the Bride say, come, let him who HEARS say, come. And let him who thirsts, come. Whoever desires, let him take the waters of life freely.” (Rev. 22:17).
